New Horizons Hispanic Women's Ministry
We unite women and their children in our community and
assist them with acclimating to their new surroundings, which may be unfamiliar.
We use: Prayer, English as a Second Language, and
Children’s Bible Study in order to support our efforts.

ISMS: Inclusive Social Ministry for Solidarity
(formerly named Shalom Ministry of Reconciliation)
Purpose
The Inclusive Social Ministry for Solidarity’s purpose is to improve relationships, facilitate reconciliation, and decrease polarization.
Mission
The United Methodist Church of the Open Door, as a diverse faith community, will collaborate with other faith communities and organizations to implement the Inclusive Social Ministries (ISMS) as a gathering place to:
- Provide instruction in the areas of racial, cross-cultural, and religious awareness and sensitivity training.
- Provide forums to foster cultural, racial, and religious reconciliation.
