MI S S ION: To mobilize, lead and sustain a progressive United Methodist movement, energizing people to be agents of God's justice, peace and reconciliation.
As a Justice Seeking Congregation and justice-seeking people of faith, we call ourselves, our congregation, and our church to expand its
understanding of the call of the Gospel to be the inclusive, anti-racist/anti-oppressive, justice seeking, risk-taking Body of Christ. We will live
out our belief that to be faithful witnesses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ is to be involved in the transformation of the world. We believe transformation is possible and hold these values as we seek sacred change in our
congregations, communities, denomination, and our world.

While all of our ministries reflect the various ways in which we strive to reflect God's presence in our community and world, our various Community Ministries tend to most closely reflect one or more of the
United Methodist Social Principles.
